Which returning multiplayer mode appears in Madden NFL 27 Superstar?

3v3 Showdown returns as a multiplayer mode in Madden NFL 27 Superstar.

The mode is part of Superstar’s live-service content and gives players a social way to compete with or against other created players. Its three-versus-three format distinguishes it from standard full-team NFL games.

Madden NFL 27’s Superstar calendar also includes new gameplay mechanics, real-world themed events, seasonal twists, expanded solo experiences, squad-based activities, and exclusive power rewards.

The mode name is easy to confuse with generic rivalry or gauntlet labels. The official title is specifically 3v3 Showdown, including the numerical format.
