Cleopatra appears as a major historical character in Assassin's Creed Origins.
The game is set in Ptolemaic Egypt during the first century BCE, when Cleopatra VII competes for power amid civil war and Roman intervention. Bayek of Siwa becomes involved with Cleopatra's political struggle while pursuing members of the Order of the Ancients, the organization that precedes the later Templar Order.
Cleopatra was the last active ruler of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt and ruled alongside members of her family according to the dynasty's traditions. Origins presents her in a dramatized historical narrative, so not every scene is a literal reconstruction of documented events. The game also features Julius Caesar, but he is a Roman statesman and general rather than the Egyptian queen asked for here.
