The rapper whose 2018 album Daytona was produced entirely by Kanye West is Pusha T.
Daytona is Pusha T’s third studio album, released on May 25, 2018, by GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings. Its compact seven-track sequence runs just over 21 minutes, emphasizing dense rapping over sparse, sample-heavy production. Kanye West served as executive producer and produced every track.
The album was recorded during sessions in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and became the first of five 2018 projects associated with West’s Wyoming Sessions. Those releases also included West’s Ye, Kids See Ghosts with Kid Cudi, Nas’s Nasir, and Teyana Taylor’s K.T.S.E. Daytona’s short format and concentrated sound made it especially distinctive among major rap releases of the period.
“Entirely produced by Kanye West” does not mean he was the only person credited in every production role: Andrew Dawson, Mike Dean, and Pi’erre Bourne also received additional production credits. Travis Scott and Kid Cudi are associated with other West projects, while Kanye himself is the producer, not the album’s lead rapper.
