Which rapper released the 2007 album 'Graduation'?

The story behind the answer

Kanye West released the 2007 album Graduation.

Graduation is West’s third studio album and was released on September 11, 2007, through Def Jam Recordings and Roc-A-Fella Records. It continued the education theme established by The College Dropout and Late Registration, but shifted toward bigger synthesizers, electronic textures, stadium-ready hooks, and more experimental production.

The album’s cover art was designed with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami and featured West’s Dropout Bear mascot. Its singles included “Stronger,” “Good Life,” and “Homecoming,” with “Stronger” becoming a major international hit. West primarily produced the album himself, with contributions from producers including DJ Toomp and Nottz.

A frequent mix-up comes from the album’s highly publicized 2007 sales battle with 50 Cent’s Curtis. That rivalry involved two different rappers and albums released in the same week; it does not change who made Graduation. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and sold more than 957,000 copies in its first week.
