Which rapper is known for the hit 'Gin and Juice'?

The rapper known for the hit "Gin and Juice" is Snoop Dogg.

The song was originally credited to Snoop Doggy Dogg and appeared on his 1993 debut studio album, Doggystyle. Released as a single on January 18, 1994, it was produced by Dr. Dre and became one of the defining recordings of the West Coast G-funk sound.

"Gin and Juice" pairs a relaxed, melodic groove with Snoop's conversational delivery and detailed account of partying, neighborhood life, and everyday trouble. Its title refers to gin mixed with fruit juice, a combination that became central to the song's memorable hook. The track helped establish Snoop as a major rap star after his appearances on Dr. Dre's The Chronic.

The artist's stage name has changed over time: he was widely known as Snoop Doggy Dogg when the song was released and later shortened the name to Snoop Dogg. Dr. Dre produced the record, but Snoop is the performing rapper and primary voice associated with the hit.
