Which rapper is known for the 2017 hit 'Humble'?

Kendrick Lamar is the rapper known for the 2017 hit “HUMBLE.” The song was released on March 30, 2017, as the lead single from his fourth studio album, “Damn,” through Top Dawg Entertainment, Aftermath, and Interscope.

Produced by Mike Will Made It and Pluss, “HUMBLE.” combines a sparse, forceful beat with lyrics that demand humility while also showcasing Lamar’s competitive confidence. Its striking music video, directed by Dave Meyers and The Little Homies, used religious imagery, visual tableaux, and surreal scenes to amplify the song’s confrontational tone.

The track became Lamar’s first No. 1 single as a lead artist on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It debuted at No. 2 before reaching the top spot, and its success helped “Damn” become one of the defining rap albums of 2017. The title is often stylized with a period: “HUMBLE.”
