Which Queen album is the soundtrack to the 1980 film Flash Gordon?

Queen's soundtrack album for the 1980 film Flash Gordon is titled Flash Gordon.

Released on 8 December 1980, Flash Gordon was Queen's ninth studio album and their first project created specifically as a film soundtrack. The band wrote and recorded the music for Mike Hodges's science-fiction film, which was based on the comic-strip character created by Alex Raymond.

The album combines instrumental passages, dialogue samples, electronic textures, orchestral elements, and rock performances. Its best-known song is “Flash,” released as a single in several countries and built around the film's dramatic title declaration.

The album is sometimes mistaken for A Kind of Magic because that later Queen record also had a strong film connection. A Kind of Magic supplied songs for the 1986 film Highlander, whereas Flash Gordon is the dedicated soundtrack to the 1980 film of the same name.
