Spider-Man: The Animated Series first aired on Fox Kids.
The series premiered on November 19, 1994, as part of the Fox Kids programming block in the United States. Produced by Marvel Films Animation, it adapted major Spider-Man stories while adding serialized plots involving characters such as Mary Jane Watson, the Green Goblin, Venom, and the Kingpin.
The other options are associated with different animation eras or networks. Toonami was a Cartoon Network programming block, Kids' WB was a competing broadcast block, and Jetix emerged later as a successor-style brand connected with Disney programming. None of them was the show's original U.S. home.
The series ran for five seasons and ended in 1998. Its frequent syndication and later reruns can make the original broadcast home easy to confuse with later channels that carried the show.
