Which producer of the 2026 live-action Moana is the brother of Dany Garcia?

Hiram Garcia, the brother of Dany Garcia, is one of the producers of the 2026 live-action *Moana*.

Hiram and Dany Garcia are both associated with Seven Bucks Productions, the company founded with Dwayne Johnson. The three producers were involved from the project’s announcement, with Beau Flynn joining through FlynnPictureCo. Their producing team connects the remake to Johnson, who reprises his role as Maui from the animated film.

Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia are siblings. Dany Garcia is a business executive and producer who has worked extensively with Johnson, while Hiram Garcia is a producer and former production executive known for developing and overseeing major film projects. Their professional partnership is separate from the film’s creative leadership: Thomas Kail directs, and Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller are credited with the screenplay.

The wording asks specifically for the producer who is Dany Garcia’s brother, not for every producer connected to Seven Bucks. That makes Hiram Garcia the single canonical answer. Scott Sheldon and Charles Newirth are executive producers, while Beau Flynn is a separate producer associated with FlynnPictureCo.
