Evan Davis replaced Adrian Chiles as host of the British television show Dragon's Den.
Davis became the programme’s presenter after Chiles hosted the first series. He introduced pitches, guided viewers through the entrepreneurs’ claims, and provided transitions before and after negotiations with the Dragons.
Davis is a British broadcaster and journalist known for presenting business and current-affairs programming. His association with Dragon's Den lasted for many series, making his voice and interviewing style central to the programme’s identity for a large part of its run.
The presenter should not be confused with an investor. Davis did not occupy a Dragon’s chair or make the offers being negotiated in the Den. That distinction matters because the programme’s format combines a presenter-led television structure with a separate panel of investors who decide whether to pursue a deal.
