Squirtle’s Water Gun can hydrate dried plants in Pokémon Pokopia.
In the game’s restoration-focused mechanics, Ditto borrows useful moves from Pokémon it befriends. Squirtle’s Water Gun is used as an environmental tool, allowing Ditto to revive or water plants that have dried out in the devastated world.
This example shows how Pokopia reinterprets familiar Pokémon abilities outside traditional battles. Water Gun remains associated with Squirtle, but its role here is practical and peaceful. It helps build a welcoming habitat, attract additional Pokémon, and advance the broader project of turning the wasteland into a comfortable home.
