Manaphy teaches Ditto to use Dive in Pokémon Pokopia’s Bubbly Basin update.
Dive expands Pokopia’s exploration by allowing Ditto to enter underwater regions that were previously inaccessible. The update adds aquatic-themed Pokémon and furniture, extending the game’s habitat-building and discovery systems into a new environment.
The Bubbly Basin content arrived as the first part of Pokémon Pokopia’s paid three-part expansion pass in August 2026. Popplio is also associated with the update: it appears at Bleak Beach and leads Ditto through a submerged undersea gate. However, Popplio is not the Pokémon that teaches the Dive move.
That distinction makes the characters easy to mix up. Manaphy provides the move instruction, while Popplio helps direct the player toward the underwater route. The remaining expansion-pass parts were scheduled for late 2026 and 2027, so Bubbly Basin is specifically the first released expansion section.
