Which Pokémon serves as the player’s first major guide in Pokémon Pokopia?

Professor Tangrowth serves as the player’s first major guide in Pokémon Pokopia.

After Ditto assumes a human form, it meets a Tangrowth known as Professor Tangrowth. This character has taken responsibility for studying the damaged environment and investigating why humans and Pokémon disappeared from the region.

Professor Tangrowth gives the story an investigative thread alongside its building mechanics. Ditto is not merely decorating an empty landscape; the pair are also trying to understand the world’s collapse and the clues left behind by humanity.

The name can be confused with the human professors who introduce players to Pokémon in the main series. Professor Tangrowth is a Pokémon character and a distinctive figure created for Pokopia’s setting.
