Which Pokémon Pokopia expansion pass part introduced the Bubbly Basin area?

Bubbly Basin is the Pokémon Pokopia expansion pass part named for the Bubbly Basin area.

Pokopia received a paid three-part expansion pass. Its first part, Bubbly Basin, released in August 2026 and expanded the game beyond its launch content. The expansion pass was planned as a sequence rather than a single downloadable addition.

The name is easy to misremember because Pokopia contains multiple biomes and habitat-focused locations. Bubbly Basin is the official title of the first expansion part, while other areas or later content should not be substituted for it.

The expansion also fits the game’s broader design. Pokopia uses new environments, Pokémon, furniture, and exploration opportunities to extend its central loop of building habitats and making the world more welcoming. The remaining two expansion-pass parts were scheduled for late 2026 and 2027, respectively.
