Omega Force is the Pokémon Pokopia developer associated with the Warriors series.
Pokopia was co-developed by Game Freak and Omega Force, a development team within Koei Tecmo. Omega Force had experience with large-scale action and sandbox projects, including games in the Warriors franchise and Dragon Quest Builders 2.
Game Freak brought its long history with Pokémon to the project, while Omega Force contributed experience in building and sandbox design. This partnership helped Pokopia move beyond the battle-focused structure common to many Pokémon games.
The game’s development history explains why its systems combine Pokémon interactions with construction, environmental restoration, and habitat design. Omega Force is not the publisher: Nintendo and The Pokémon Company published the title, while Game Freak and Omega Force handled development.
