Which Pokémon Pokopia character is a Smeargle famous for painting?

Smearguru is the Smeargle character in Pokémon Pokopia who is exceptionally talented at painting.

Smearguru is one of the special Pokémon Ditto encounters while rebuilding habitats in the abandoned Kanto setting. The character’s artistic skill expands on Smeargle’s established identity as a Pokémon associated with painting and its distinctive tail.

The name combines the species name with the character’s expert status. It is not the name of a new evolution, regional form, or standard species classification. Pokopia uses such names to make individual Pokémon memorable within its story.

Other named encounters have different themes: Mosslax is an overgrown Snorlax, DJ Rotom has possessed a stereo system, and Tinkmaster uses tools to help reconstruct the landscape.
