Ditto can learn Water Gun from Squirtle in Pokémon Pokopia.
In Pokopia, Squirtle’s Water Gun is used as an environmental tool rather than merely as a battle attack. The move lets Ditto refresh thirsty plants, connecting Pokémon abilities directly to gardening and settlement development.
This design gives familiar Pokémon moves new functions. Players recognize the move from the broader Pokémon franchise, but Pokopia recontextualizes it within a relaxed life-simulation loop involving crops, habitats, and daily care.
Water Gun is sometimes confused with Surf or Hydro Pump because all three are Water-type moves. They differ in name, power, and traditional battle use. The move specifically associated with Squirtle’s plant-watering role in Pokopia is Water Gun.
