Tangrowth is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. Its vine-covered design fits naturally with a story focused on overgrown landscapes, habitat creation, and rebuilding. Tangrowth is sometimes confused with other large Grass-type Pokémon, such as Torterra or Rillaboom, but those species are not the Pokémon identified in Pokopia’s opening setup.
