Which Pokémon in Pokopia is nicknamed Peakychu?

Peakychu is a Pikachu in Pokémon Pokopia.

Peakychu is a special Pikachu character encountered during the story. Unlike the usual image of Pikachu as a dependable Electric-type Pokémon, Peakychu has lost the ability to generate electricity. That unusual problem is part of the game’s wider pattern of presenting Pokémon with distinctive circumstances and personal stories.

Peakychu appears alongside other memorable characters, including Smearguru, an exceptionally talented Smeargle; Mosslax, a Snorlax covered in vegetation; Chef Dente, a Greedent connected to cooking; and DJ Rotom, a Rotom possessing a stereo system.

These characters make Pokopia’s world feel more like a community than a conventional Pokémon route. The player restores habitats and helps Pokémon return to a livable environment, with each special character contributing to the game’s broader story of recovery.
