Generation IX is the newest Pokémon generation represented in Pokémon Pokopia’s 300-Pokémon roster.
Pokopia selects 300 Pokémon from Generations I through IX. Because Generation IX is the highest numbered generation in that range, it is the newest source generation included in the game’s roster.
This does not mean that every Pokémon from Generations I through IX appears. The game uses a curated selection suited to its habitat-building world, and the total roster is limited to 300 Pokémon.
Generation numbering can be confused with release order for spin-offs, remakes, or expansions. Here, “Generation IX” refers to the main Pokémon species era associated with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, not to Pokopia’s own position as a spin-off. Pokopia itself was released in 2026.
