Bryson Stott drove in Philadelphia’s second run with an RBI single in the 2026 MLB Field of Dreams Game.
Stott’s single came during the first inning and helped the Phillies build a 2–0 lead over the Minnesota Twins. Kyle Schwarber had already opened the scoring with a leadoff home run.
Philadelphia’s early advantage established the game’s direction. Minnesota responded with Luke Keaschall’s solo homer in the second inning, but the Twins did not score again. The Phillies later added three runs in the fourth and two in the seventh.
An RBI, or run batted in, is credited when a batter’s plate appearance causes a run to score, subject to official scoring rules. Stott’s hit was recorded as a single rather than an extra-base hit, making it a separate event from Philadelphia’s home runs.
