Which person received the 2026 Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award?

Mary-Mitchell Campbell received the 2026 Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award.

The honor recognized Campbell at the 79th Tony Awards. The Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award is presented for outstanding commitment to humanitarian, social-service, or charitable work, making it different from the competitive awards for Broadway productions and performances.

Campbell is a conductor, composer, arranger, and musical director with extensive Broadway experience. Her theatre work includes conducting and music-direction credits, but the 2026 honor was presented as a special award rather than for a particular production’s score or orchestrations.

The ceremony included several other non-competitive recognitions. André Bishop, Jules Fisher, and James Lapine received Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre honors; the League of Resident Theatres received a Special Tony Award; and American Players Theatre received the Regional Theatre Tony Award.
