Amy Madigan won Female Actor in a Supporting Role for Weapons at the 2026 SAG Awards.
Madigan portrayed Gladys in Weapons, a film written and directed by Zach Cregger. The movie is a mystery-horror story centered on the disappearance of children from a small community and the suspicion surrounding the event.
Her SAG-AFTRA victory came against Odessa A’zion for Marty Supreme, Ariana Grande for Wicked: For Good, Wunmi Mosaku for Sinners, and Teyana Taylor for One Battle After Another. The category honors a supporting performance in a motion picture, so it is distinct from the leading-role awards presented to Jessie Buckley and Michael B. Jordan.
Madigan’s award was one of the five film acting prizes at the ceremony. Weapons did not win the film cast award; that honor went to Sinners. The 2026 event also marked the first ceremony using the official title Actor Awards, reflecting SAG-AFTRA’s rebranding of its annual honors.
