Which performer won a 2026 SAG Award posthumously for The Studio?

Catherine O’Hara won a 2026 SAG Award posthumously for The Studio.

O’Hara received the Female Actor in a Comedy Series award for her work in The Studio. Her posthumous victory distinguished the honor from the other individual television wins presented during the ceremony and brought particular attention to her long career in comedy.

The Studio also won Comedy Ensemble, while Seth Rogen won Male Actor in a Comedy Series for the same production. Those awards recognized different achievements: O’Hara’s was an individual performance prize, Rogen’s honored another individual performer, and the ensemble award recognized the cast collectively.

O’Hara’s career included iconic comedy performances in television, film, and sketch comedy. She became especially associated with Schitt’s Creek, where she played Moira Rose, and also appeared in films such as Beetlejuice and Home Alone. The 2026 award recognized her television comedy work in The Studio.
