Skye is the Cockapoo who flies the PAW Patrol helicopter.
Skye is the team’s aviation specialist. She uses a pink helicopter for aerial rescues, reconnaissance and missions that require reaching places inaccessible by ground vehicles. Her pup pack includes equipment designed for flight-related emergencies.
A Cockapoo is a crossbreed developed from a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle. In the series, Skye’s breed and pink aviation theme help distinguish her from the other pups and their specialties.
Skye is sometimes mixed up with Everest, the Siberian Husky who specializes in mountain rescue, or Liberty, a long-haired Dachshund introduced in PAW Patrol: The Movie. Their vehicles, roles and introductions are different.
