Which original female Dragon appeared on the first two series of Britain's Dragon's Den?

Rachel Elnaugh was the original female Dragon on Britain's Dragon's Den and appeared in its first two series.

Elnaugh was a British entrepreneur best known for co-founding Red Letter Days, a company selling experience gifts. She joined the original investment panel when the British programme launched in 2005, alongside Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Doug Richard and Simon Woodroffe.

She left the regular panel after the second series. Deborah Meaden subsequently joined the programme in series 3, which is why viewers sometimes remember Meaden as part of the original group. Elnaugh's position is more specific: she was the first female Dragon in the British version and belonged to the launch-era line-up.

Red Letter Days later experienced financial difficulties and was sold, an episode often discussed alongside Elnaugh's television career. That business history is separate from her status on the show. The question concerns the panel's original female member, not the first woman to make an investment or the longest-serving female Dragon.
