Peter Jones was the original Dragon's Den investor who remained on the British panel for every series through 2024.
Jones joined the programme at its launch in 2005 and became its longest-serving current investor. His business interests have included technology, media, retail and consumer products, and his public profile grew substantially through the show.
The original panel also included Duncan Bannatyne, Rachel Elnaugh, Theo Paphitis and Doug Richard. Those investors later left the programme, while Jones continued across successive changes in the lineup. This distinction makes him different from investors who were present at launch but did not remain throughout the run.
