Peter Jones remained on the British programme Dragon's Den from its first series onward.
Jones is a British entrepreneur and investor who was part of the original Dragon panel when the programme launched in 2005. He became notable for appearing across the show's full run, while other investors joined or departed as the panel changed.
His business interests have included technology, media, retail and telecommunications. On Dragon's Den, he evaluates pitches by examining the proposed product, market opportunity, financial figures and ownership offered by the entrepreneur.
The word “original” can cause confusion because several well-known investors appeared during the early seasons. However, being an early Dragon is not the same as remaining continuously from the first series. Jones is the panel member associated with that uninterrupted presence.
