Which original Dragon left the BBC's Dragon's Den after its first series?

Simon Woodroffe left the BBC's Dragon's Den after its first series.

Woodroffe was one of the original Dragons when the British programme launched in 2005. He was best known as the founder of the Yo! brand, which began with the Yo! Sushi restaurant concept and later extended into other businesses.

After the first series, Woodroffe departed the panel and was replaced by Theo Paphitis. This change explains why the original lineup differs from the panel remembered from later early episodes.

Woodroffe's short television tenure is sometimes overlooked because several other original Dragons remained associated with the programme for longer. The specific succession fact is that Paphitis replaced Woodroffe after series one.
