Peter Jones is the only investor to remain on the regular British Dragon's Den panel since series 1.
Jones is a British entrepreneur and investor whose businesses have included interests in technology, telecommunications, leisure and property. He was part of the original Dragon's Den panel when the British series began in 2005.
The programme’s investor line-up has changed repeatedly. Original Dragons such as Duncan Bannatyne, Simon Woodroffe, Doug Richard and Rachel Elnaugh did not remain regular panel members throughout the show’s long run. Jones therefore became the continuing link between the first series and later generations of Dragons.
This fact concerns continuous regular membership, not every appearance by every investor. Guest Dragons and former panel members may return for special episodes, but that does not alter Jones’s status as the enduring original panel member.
