Which Oceanian capital is in Palau's Melekeok State?

The story behind the answer

Ngerulmud is the Oceanian capital located in Palau's Melekeok State.

The capital sits on Babeldaob, Palau's largest island, in the state of Melekeok. It is a seat of national government rather than a large traditional settlement, consisting mainly of the Capitol complex and associated government facilities. Melekeok State occupies Babeldaob's central east coast and includes villages, forested hills, beaches, and Lake Ngardok.

Palau's previous capital was Koror. The country's 1979 Constitution directed the government to establish a permanent capital on Babeldaob, and the new complex at Ngerulmud opened on 7 October 2006. Its separate legislative, executive, and judicial buildings are arranged around a central open plaza.

The key distinction is administrative: Melekeok is both a state and a village, while Ngerulmud is the national capital within that state. Koror remains Palau's most populous and economically important urban center, but it is no longer the country's official capital.
