Which New Zealander won the 1967 Formula One World Drivers' Championship?

The story behind the answer

Denny Hulme won the 1967 Formula One World Drivers’ Championship, becoming the first and still only New Zealander to win the title. He drove a Brabham-Repco during the eleven-race season.

Hulme won two Grands Prix, in Monaco and Germany, and scored consistently enough to finish on 51 championship points. His teammate Jack Brabham finished second, while Jim Clark placed third. Brabham also won the manufacturers’ championship that year.

One unusual detail is that Hulme won the title without taking a pole position, a feat later matched by Niki Lauda. Hulme’s achievement is sometimes overshadowed by New Zealand’s other famous racing names, including Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon, but neither won the Formula One drivers’ championship.
