Dive lets players explore underwater in Pokémon Pokopia’s Bubbly Basin.
The Dive move was introduced in a free update connected with the Bubbly Basin expansion content. It allows the player to travel below the waves and reach the underwater town added in Part 1 of the Expansion Pass.
Dive is also a familiar move name in the wider Pokémon series. In earlier games, it has been used for underwater exploration and, in some battle systems, as a two-turn Water-type attack. Pokopia uses the name primarily as an exploration ability.
This distinction matters because Surf, Waterfall, and Whirlpool are also aquatic move names from Pokémon history. In Pokopia’s Bubbly Basin content, however, the specific move associated with going beneath the waves is Dive.
