Which new class did Mists of Pandaria introduce?

The story behind the answer

Mists of Pandaria introduced the Monk class. It arrived with the expansion’s new playable race, the pandaren, and became World of Warcraft’s eleventh class.

Monks were designed around martial-arts fantasy and use leather armor. Their three original specializations covered the game’s main combat roles: Brewmaster for tanking, Windwalker for melee damage, and Mistweaver for healing. Early monk gameplay used Chi as a resource generated by abilities such as Jab, although later class redesigns changed several of those mechanics.

A common mix-up is choosing Death Knight, which was introduced in Wrath of the Lich King, or Demon Hunter, which arrived in Legion. Evoker was added much later in Dragonflight and is tied specifically to the Dracthyr race. Mists of Pandaria also introduced the pandaren, a faction-neutral race that chooses the Alliance or Horde after completing its starting story.
