Which network did Hulu replace as King of the Hill's original broadcaster for season 14?

The story behind the answer

Hulu replaced Fox as King of the Hill’s original broadcaster for season 14.

The first thirteen seasons originally aired on the Fox Broadcasting Company, beginning with the series premiere on January 12, 1997. Fox became closely associated with the show as part of its Sunday-night animated programming lineup, alongside series such as The Simpsons and Family Guy.

After the original run ended in 2009, the revival was developed specifically for Hulu. All ten season 14 episodes were released on the streaming service on August 4, 2025, making Hulu the show’s new premiere platform rather than a traditional broadcast network.

The wording can cause a small historical complication: some late season 13 episodes were released through first-run syndication after Fox chose not to air them. Nevertheless, Fox was the original broadcaster for seasons 1–13, and Hulu replaced Fox for the new season 14 premiere. NBC, ABC, and The WB were not the show’s original network.
