Which musician from T-Square contributed drum overdubs to Mario Kart World’s soundtrack?

Satoshi Bandoh of T-Square contributed drum overdubs to Mario Kart World’s soundtrack. His work was part of Nintendo’s collaboration with outside musicians on the game’s ambitious score.

The main music team was led by Atsuko Asahi, with Maasa Miyoshi, Takuhiro Honda, and Yutaro Takakuwa also involved. Nintendo additionally worked with members of the jazz-fusion band Dezolve to arrange parts of the soundtrack.

Bandoh’s contribution is easy to mix up with that of Masato Honda, another T-Square member who contributed wind-instrument overdubs. The two musicians worked on different instrumental areas. Keeping those roles separate is important because both names appear in accounts of Mario Kart World’s music production.
