Which Mortal Kombat character was introduced in Mortal Kombat II as a female clone of Kitana?

The story behind the answer

Mileena was introduced in Mortal Kombat II as a female clone of Kitana.

In the series’ fiction, Shang Tsung created Mileena from a combination of Kitana’s genetic material and Tarkatan traits. The result gave her a similar appearance to Kitana but also distinctive Tarkatan features, most famously her rows of sharp teeth. Shao Kahn used Mileena as a replacement and rival for Kitana.

Mileena first appeared as a hidden playable character in Mortal Kombat II. Her weapon, teleporting attacks, and aggressive personality quickly made her one of the franchise’s most recognizable fighters. Her rivalry with Kitana became an ongoing part of later games and stories.

Jade was also introduced in Mortal Kombat II, but she is a separate character and ally of Kitana. Skarlet and Frost debuted in later games, so neither is the original clone introduced alongside Kitana’s expanded story.
