Onaga is the final opponent revealed in Mortal Kombat: Deception’s Konquest story.
Onaga is known as the Dragon King and was the ruler of Outworld before Shao Kahn. In the game’s story, Shao Kahn poisoned Onaga and took control of his empire. Onaga eventually returns from death and seeks to reclaim authority over Outworld and reshape the realms according to his own plan.
Mortal Kombat: Deception presents Onaga as the central threat across its story mode. The Konquest campaign follows Shujinko, whose long journey is manipulated by an entity posing as a servant of the Elder Gods. That deception helps bring about Onaga’s resurrection.
Players may confuse Onaga with Shao Kahn because both are major Outworld rulers and series bosses. Shao Kahn is not Deception’s ultimate new antagonist; Onaga is the game’s defining final enemy.
