Which Metroid game introduced the Phazon substance?
Answer
Metroid Prime
Answer
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime introduced the Phazon substance to the Metroid series. In the game, Phazon is a corruptive and mutagenic material brought to Tallon IV by a meteor impact known as a Leviathan.
The substance transforms living organisms and becomes central to the Space Pirates’ experiments. They mine Phazon in the planet’s underground regions and use it to enhance creatures, weapons, and soldiers. Samus eventually obtains the Phazon Suit after defeating the Omega Pirate, gaining protection from the substance’s dangerous effects.
Phazon is not simply a powerful fuel or ordinary radiation. Its influence causes biological mutation and is tied to the mysterious creature known as Metroid Prime, which emerged from the meteor’s impact crater. The title game was released for the Nintendo GameCube in North America on November 18, 2002. Phazon later became a major element of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
