Which McDonald's character represented the Big Mac in McDonaldland advertising?

Officer Big Mac represented the Big Mac in McDonaldland advertising.

Officer Big Mac was a police-officer character whose head was shaped like a Big Mac hamburger. His design turned the sandwich itself into a recognizable personality and linked a specific menu item to the wider McDonaldland cast.

The character is often confused with Mayor McCheese because both had oversized food-shaped heads and leadership roles. Mayor McCheese's head was a cheeseburger, while Officer Big Mac's head specifically represented the Big Mac. The Professor was another McDonaldland figure, but he was an inventor rather than a product character.
