Which Mario Party game was released exclusively for the Game Boy Advance?

The story behind the answer

Mario Party Advance was the Mario Party game released exclusively for the Game Boy Advance. Released in 2005, it was the first handheld entry in the series and remains the only Mario Party title made for the Game Boy Advance.

Unlike the console games, Mario Party Advance emphasizes a mostly single-player adventure called Shroom City. Players choose Mario, Luigi, Peach, or Yoshi and travel around the board completing quests for residents, collecting minigames, and finding Professor E. Gadd’s interactive “Gaddgets.” The game contains more than 120 minigames and gadgets, although only a limited selection supports multiplayer through a Game Link Cable or shared-system play.

A common mix-up is confusing it with Mario Party DS or Mario Party: Island Tour, both of which are handheld Mario Party games but belong to different hardware generations. Mario Party Advance was also unusual because it replaced the traditional four-player Party Mode with its quest-focused structure.
