Purple Panda was the Make-Believe character who came from Planet Purple.

Purple Panda is a two-toned purple giant panda with a distinctive robotic, monotone voice. He arrived in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe by teleporting, a method the show called “the Purple Way to travel.” His unusual origin made him one of the neighborhood’s more fantastical visitors.

Purple Panda first appeared in the 1970s and was performed by David L. Nohling from 1973 to 1991, with Matt Meko performing the character in later episodes.
