Rob Law presented the children's ride-on suitcase Trunki on BBC's Dragon's Den in 2006.
Trunki was designed as a lightweight children's suitcase that could also be ridden by a child while travelling through airports. Law developed the idea after identifying a need for more engaging luggage for young travellers. He entered the Den seeking investment to help develop and market the product.
The dragons did not invest in the business. Despite that rejection, Trunki became a successful product sold internationally and won several design awards. It was manufactured by Law's company, Magmatic, which he founded in Bristol.
The programme appearance is often remembered because the product later succeeded without Dragon investment. The name Trunki refers specifically to the ride-on suitcase; it should not be confused with ordinary children's wheeled luggage or the company name Magmatic.
