Louis Vuitton’s large tote named for its ability to hold everything is the Neverfull.
Louis Vuitton introduced the Neverfull in 2007 as a spacious tote designed for everyday use. Its name refers to the bag’s generous capacity, while side laces allow the shape to be adjusted. The design is commonly produced in the house’s Monogram, Damier Ebene and Damier Azur canvas patterns, as well as in leather versions.
The Neverfull usually has thin shoulder handles, an open top and a removable pouch in many versions. That pouch became a useful separate accessory, although the exact details vary by edition and size. The bag has been offered in several standard sizes, including PM, MM and GM.
It is sometimes confused with the Louis Vuitton OnTheGo, another large tote. The OnTheGo has a more structured, boxy silhouette and often features oversized Monogram motifs. The Neverfull is identified instead by its softer tote construction, side cinch laces and high carrying capacity.
