Which lifetime honor did Harrison Ford receive at the 2026 SAG Awards?

Harrison Ford received the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award at the 2026 SAG Awards.

The honor recognizes career achievement and humanitarian contributions, rather than a single performance in a particular film or television program. Ford was announced as the recipient before the ceremony and accepted the award during the March 1 presentation.

Ford is known for major screen roles including Han Solo in Star Wars and Indiana Jones in the Indiana Jones series. The 2026 presentation added his name to a long list of performers honored by SAG-AFTRA for lasting contributions to acting and public life.

The 2026 ceremony was the first held under the name Actor Awards, although it was still widely called the SAG Awards. The event honored film and television performances from 2025.
