Answer
Teamfight Tactics
Answer
Teamfight Tactics
The League of Legends spinoff released as an auto battler in 2019 is Teamfight Tactics.
Teamfight Tactics, commonly abbreviated TFT, was developed and published by Riot Games. It first launched inside the League of Legends client for Windows and macOS on June 26, 2019, before arriving as a standalone mobile game in March 2020. Although it uses League champions, skins, abilities, and lore-inspired themes, it is a separate strategy experience rather than a traditional League match.
TFT belongs to the auto battler genre: players buy and position units, but the units fight automatically once combat begins. Players compete against seven opponents, build team synergies, manage gold, and try to be the last player standing. Its development was strongly influenced by Dota Auto Chess, which helped popularize the format.
A common mix-up is confusing TFT with Legends of Runeterra, Riot’s digital card game, or Wild Rift, the mobile version of League of Legends. TFT is also regularly refreshed through themed content updates called sets, which change its available champions, traits, and mechanics.
