Which Lamborghini model replaced the Gallardo?

The story behind the answer

Which Lamborghini model replaced the Gallardo? The answer is the Lamborghini Huracán.

Lamborghini introduced the Huracán as the successor to the Gallardo, its best-selling entry-level supercar. The Huracán made its public debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, with customer deliveries beginning during the spring of that year. It retained Lamborghini's compact, mid-engine supercar role while bringing newer technology and styling.

The first production version was the Huracán LP 610-4. It used a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10, all-wheel drive, and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The name refers to a Spanish fighting bull, continuing Lamborghini's long-running tradition of naming many cars after bulls.

The Gallardo had been produced from 2003 through 2013 and helped make Lamborghini substantially more successful. The Huracán continued that formula with coupe and Spyder versions, along with sharper derivatives such as the Performante and STO. Huracán production ended in 2024, after which the V8-powered Temerario took over its place in the lineup.
