Rocky Ridges in Pokémon Pokopia represents the area where Pewter City once stood. The settlement has been transformed by a volcanic eruption that covered much of the city and surrounding landscape in ash.

The region remains important despite its destruction. The old city mines are largely intact, and DJ Rotom occupies one chamber. The Pewter Museum of Science also survived, although it became embedded within the volcano and isolated from the rest of the settlement.
