Kamek is a Magikoopa character associated with Bowser and the Yoshi series. In Mario Kart World, the item uses Kamek’s magic to change racers into other characters, adding a character-changing effect to the usual collection of offensive and defensive racing items.
The transformation should not be confused with selecting a normal playable racer. Mario Kart World has a large roster of selectable characters, while Kamek can temporarily transform drivers during gameplay.
