Which Irish exchange became part of Euronext in 2018?

The story behind the answer

The Irish Stock Exchange became part of Euronext in 2018.

The exchange traces its origins to Dublin’s securities market and was formally established as the Irish Stock Exchange in 1793. It operated as an independent national exchange for many years, listing Irish and international securities.

Euronext acquired the Irish Stock Exchange in 2018, adding Dublin to its network of European markets. The Irish venue subsequently became known as Euronext Dublin while continuing to serve Irish issuers and international debt markets.

This is distinct from the 2000 creation of Euronext itself, which began with Amsterdam, Brussels, and Paris. Dublin joined the established group much later, in 2018.
